Tyler's Exams

We are excited to announce that Tyler passed his Masters Exams!!! Wahoo! He has been studying like crazy for several weeks and it sure paid off! Such a wonderful event surely calls for a celebration, so we had a little fun!

I decided I wanted to make him a poster, blow up some balloons and hang some streamers. The poster was easy enough (although it did push my artistic abilities), but after I bought the streamers and balloons I realized it was going to be a little tricky for someone in my condition (8 MONTHS ALONG!!!) to blow up 30 balloons and hang streamers. What was I thinking?

Gratefully a couple of my voice students and their mother willingly helped me! Didn't they do a cute job?

Tyler was shocked when he got home. His first two questions were, "When did you have time to do all of this?" followed quickly by, "You didn't stand on any chairs, did you?!?".

I got him two of his favorite treats to show him how proud I was of him---a Dr. Pepper and a caramel apple. He is easy to please!

We are so relieved to have this behind us! I am sure Tyler is happier than I am! I never doubted his abilities...he is one smart cookie!

Tummy Update

Since a picture of my tummy has been in such high demand we finally took a picture.  I have really felt a change in my tummy the last couple of days.  It seems to have grown overnight!

Welcome Home Landon!

We have had such a wonderful weekend with Tyler's family! Tyler's younger brother, Landon returned home from his mission on Friday! We have had a blast spending time with him and hearing his experiences and stories from Texas. Here is a picture of all of us at the airport picking him up. It is such a sweet moment to see them for the first time in two years!

Secret Garden Slide Show

Our Next Adventure

Tyler and I are really excited for our upcoming play. We are opening in the Secret Garden next Friday! Tyler plays Archibald and I am playing Lily. It's been an absolute blast practicing together. The story is very sweet and we have really come to enjoy playing across each other. This is definately my favorite role! Tyler has enjoyed his part as well, though it is a difficult one.

Just Before Finals

This upcoming week is finals for me. As I was driving to the grocery store, I was fortunate enough to have a bumper car challenge with the large truck behind me. Since he got the citation, he was of course lucky enough to have no damage done to his car. I will now be carless throughout my finals week. YES! I will need a new tail light, trunk lid, the trunk seam will need to be welded and definitely a new bumper. Luckily, this is my first accident since 2001.

This is the kind of truck that hit me. So I am pretty lucky that this is all the damage that I have.
